FAQ – Dentists/Practices

We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, but we do our best to accommodate urgent requests. Regular clients often secure recurring days each month.

We typically need around 3–4 hours of operating time to make a session feasible. This equates to about $3000–$4000 worth of procedures—for example, four sets of wisdom teeth extractions or one full All-on-X surgery.
We specialize in intravenous (IV) conscious sedation for dental procedures. This allows patients to remain responsive but deeply relaxed. We regularly provide sedation for:
  • All-on-X surgery
  • Wisdom teeth extractions
  • Implants and other surgical procedures
  • Anxious patients even for routine dental work
We service dental clinics across:
  • All of Brisbane and the Gold Coast
  • Melbourne CBD and South East suburbs
  • If you’re unsure if you’re in our coverage area, feel free to contact us.
We are fully self-contained. We bring all sedation drugs, hospital-grade monitoring equipment, and emergency gear. Your clinic simply needs to provide a treatment room and dental staff for the procedure.
We exclusively use ANZCA-accredited specialist anaesthesiologists. All sessions are also supported by a trained anaesthetic nurse or technician, ensuring high efficiency and optimal safety.
We continuously monitor oxygen saturation, blood pressure, ECG, respiratory rate, and consciousness levelthroughout the procedure. Our equipment and protocols meet hospital standards
We are trained in advanced life support and carry full emergency kits. If a complication arises, we manage it immediately and coordinate with emergency services if needed. Fortunately, serious events are extremely rare.
Most healthy patients (ASA I–II) are suitable for IV sedation. We screen all patients through a medical questionnaire to assess risks. Higher-risk or complex medical cases may be referred for hospital-based care.
Patients must fast from solids for 6 hours and may have clear fluids up to 2 hours before sedation. They must arrange a responsible escort and avoid driving or legal decision-making for 24 hours post-procedure.
We take care of IV sedation-specific consent, separate from your dental procedure consent. Consent is obtained in advance via our secure digital platform.
